ACRE supports a professional relationship between organized labour and MTA Board promoting safety, capital infrastructure and fiscal responsibility within the Railroad industry.

Mr. Valente serves as a voice for the users of the MTA transit and commuter facilities.

ACRE promotes communication between labor and management, elected officials and the media. Mr. Aprea regularly informs the public regarding the Union’s stance on health, safety, training, collective bargaining and other issues of importance to its membership.

Additionally, as the New York Legislative Representative on behalf of ACRE, Mr. Aprea endorses the enactment, enforcement and improvement of regulations and laws in the state of New York that concern the health, safety and general welfare of the membership.

As the Connecticut Representative on the behalf of ACRE, Ms. Grandfield coordinates and monitors Legislative efforts directed toward the installation, application and development of regulations and laws in the state of Connecticut, that concern the health, safety and general welfare of the membership.
